I think it was just an unfortunate pose in that picture. I know I could have airbrushed a lot on some of the other ones (I'm always tempted to airbrush myself, I don't like how I take pictures either, maybe one reason I'm usually BEHIND the camera!).

I had fun in Western Seas, but am disappointed to have had to choose! (If only I could use that time thingy Hermione had) I am very much looking forward to learning archery!

Maybe next year you won't have certain obligations you have to fulfill! I'm sure everyone would love to see you on the range (and you will have a bow before you step down, I promise!).

Sadly I did not find the picture that told me what I wanted to know. How silly did I look when I was wearing my hood, hat style? Since we were both in the same shooting group there's nothing from when I was on the line and I'd switched to hood ('cause it was cold!) by the time I was at court. I was putting it on without the benefit of mirror, pins or the like so I'm not sure if I looked period or stupid. (That's one nice thing about having a girlfriend, they tend to make an effort to make sure you aren't wearing stupid clothes in public. Being single, nobody is going to come and adjust my hat for me these days.)

It does work that way sometimes, doesn't it. Remind me and I'll watch for "silly non-quite period looking hat thing" next time you're wearing it.

I always intend that some pics should be edited out of the collection, which is why I take zillions of pics, then delete the too blurry or "weird poses" or things like that. Maybe I should have mentioned that? *wink*

I did take some out...I left a few of the blurry ones because there weren't others that captured that particular look. Amazing how fast people move when you want them to stand still.
